A few highlights from my day. Day 33 on the Camino. My daily mileage is slowly going down due to a couple of blisters forming, really trying to baby my left leg (previous torn meniscus and stress fracture) and just general tiredness. I’m really not sleeping well. 😞 Anyway, on to the pictures. Leaving the albergue this morning in Gonso, I found kitty snoozing in the reception area. I gave him a few well-received belly rubs and started on my way. A church in Rabanal has a statue of Joseph holding baby Jesus. I’ve only ever seen Mary holding him. I thought it was interesting. Gay pride 🏳️🌈 on the Camino. Entering the town of Fontebadón, population 19. You got to give these folks credit for trying to keep the roof on their house. And a little fixer upper for sale. 😂. A little pizzeria that’s been here only a few months. Good pizza, good wine, and good music. The owner is very friendly and fun. By my calculations, I have 144.0024860161591 miles to go, which should take me somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks.
