Re-visited my door stop to make some design changes as well as swapping the orientation of the print.
The original Is in Black PLA, V2 is in Blue ABS.
I've managed to get a much higher quality finish on the top and bottom, but there is still some warping between layers of the print, noticeable on the stop sign.
It's not an ideal design for this type of printer, more of a challenge to see what un-supported structures I can pull off with it.
So my settings in @simplify3d for my maker select v2 are apparently terrible (second video). I get some crazy vibration and jerkiness with anything sliced in it. Changed back to Cura just to test my theory and got a really good benchy. Also my printer seems to LOVE Raptor Series PLA from @makergeeks and I’m totally fine with that. Hopefully I can get simplify3d to work correctly with my printer.
Anyone have or use the Wanhao i3 mini 3D printer? I’ve read a couple of reviews online and hear good things. It has a small print area and is PLA only. However, at this price, it seems very reasonable. Any thoughts? #3dprinting#wanhao#wanhaoi3#wanhaoduplicatori3
It's so tideous to edit videos, and sometimes they are longer than Instagram allows. So go ahead and check out the video I made about repairing my brushcutter instead of buying a new part. -Link in bio-
Don’t know what I did to fix it but this is just wonderful to watch.

Upgrading to a new blower style cooler for all you 3D printer nerds like me out there.
Using @rigid.ink ABS in trans red for the main blower duct and the adapters and covers will be in normal PLW , haven't decided on Thier colour yet (may as well go crazy with colour if I'm doing upgrades lol)
