Fully loaded porridge! I friggin love eating with the seasons & winter is all about those warming foods.
Here is a very basic way to get the most Nutrient balance out of the humble old porridge. 1/3 cup traditional rolled oats or brown rice flakes for gluten free, 1 cup milk of choice (plant based for dairy free), 1 mashed banana, 3 scoops @nutraorganics collagen powder OR 1 tablespoon good quality protein powder (or both ), 1 heaped teaspoon ground cinnamon. Cooked down in a small saucepan until creamy & combined. Place in bowl & top with a clean nut, seed & fruit mix (I love the MACRO brand energy mix from @woolworths_au ), sprinkled ground cinnamon & ground ginger cause those warming spices are where it’s at. Soooo delicious & easily my favourite winter breakfast. Always remember to up the protein element though to ensure you keep them hunger/hanger pangs away!
