The foundation I'm reviewing to you today, has been chosen by all of you who answered to my last week's survey, and it is the @maccosmeticsitalia Studio Waterweight SPF 30 foundation.
The claim of the product is to have a buildable coverage from light to almost medium, with an ultra natural finish. In fact, the foundation looks like a very liquid serum, which I managed to apply with both the blender and a duofibre brush, with which I really liked the result. Since it contains volatile oils, at first time the finish on the skin is dewy, but in a few seconds the product is fixed on the skin and the final effect is more moisturizing than dewy. I recommend oily skins to use a good powder to fix it, and dry skin to use a good moisturizing primer underneath, to prevent the evaporation of oils from accentuating any skin dehydration sign. The lasting power of the foundation is of about 6 hours without retouching, at least on me, but I like its natural finish so much that I will continue using it with pleasure, especially in spring! I remind you that this foundation has an SPF 30, so it's perfect for the hot season.
See you next week!
