Yesterday’s weaving workshop was a blast! Such a talented fun group 💕 What better way to spend a cold Sunday than learning a new skill and weaving the afternoon away ☺️ Thanks for weaving with me ladies, can’t wait to see your finished pieces 🙌

The most recent takeover has been completed! Thank you @littleoakandco we hope to see you again soon. In the meantime if you like her work give her account a follow, she’s cooking up some exciting things! That being said, the fun is not over as @gavriellamakes is starting tomorrow!
Working on another floral weaving this weekend and looking back at one of my favorite floral pieces from last year. 😍🌻you can’t beat texture + florals.
It’s been a bit quiet on the weaving front this last few days, even though I’ve had the week off work. I’ve been busy fitting my new kitchen, so current colour decisions are more about paint than fibre - like which of these shades of blue to paint my units (opinions welcome)! I do have a little experimental weave in progress, but I’m not sharing too much about it as it may not work out...
I've been in a slump lately and haven't created anything new. Life has gotten a bit stressful which seems like the perfect time to start weaving again. Maybe during today's nap 🤔
Happy Bank Holiday weekend lovelies! I've finally managed to finish my latest XL weave! I would definitely call this a 'cray weave' (coined by the lovely Holly @thewhitepapillon_ 😂) as it's definitely a bit of me! 😂 I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but these weaves which are full of crazy colour combinations, texture and fun are definitely my favourite things to make! I just completely go with the flow, no plan as to the end result - my favourite way to work! .
I don't normally name my weaves unless they are inspired by someone or something in particular, but I'm going to call this one Shelley, as she reminds me of a particularly jazzy 90's shell suit!!! 😂😂😂 .
Workshop ready woot woot! My super clever husby made these very sturdy looms for my weaving workshop this Sunday so if you’re coming along.. You get a loom! You get a loom! You get a loom! (Oprah styles 🤣)
Another piece finished! This was a special order from a friend, to use an uneven piece of wood. It was my first time working with a piece of wood that is not straight and I am in love with the way it turned out!💕
