Slay all day! 🙌🏼 • Oh man, today’s workout totally reminded me that there are different kinds of “fit.” I consider myself fairly fit when it comes to body-weight or strength HIIT workouts, but I just did a CARDIO HIIT workout and I was dying. Haven’t had to hit pause on a workout that many times in forever 💦
Today’s session was REAL! High intensity, short rest full of super sets 💪🏾💪🏾 Today I pushed it to failure and so did my clients! I make sure I’m implement the same energy for them as I put into my personal workouts!
Wednesday started out GREAT and then kind of went down hill. 🙈 The only answer I have for that is to spin it out. 🔥💪🏼I’m super happy I have this answer instead of turning to food🙆🏻♀️ But I also deleted that transformation picture I had up earlier because I tore every inch of myself apart—even though I’ve lost 23lbs. 🤦🏻♀️Maybe we will try again tomorrow🙃Making myself an açai bowl and trying to find my soul 💕
Hitting those triceps today! One of my fave exercises to target the tris is a cable pushdown. You can use a variety of attachments for this, but my fave is a straight bar. My tips for this exercise are to stagger your feet which will take some pressure off your back, and remember to connect your mind to the muscles take nice slow and controlled reps and think about your triceps not what you’re planning to have for lunch girl! I like to begin with the bar at 90 degrees (shown in pic) then press straight down and contract my triceps and slowly return back to the starting position. #tricepsworkout#girlswholift#wednesdayworkout#gymsharkombre
