What am I doing this weekend you might ask...?
Well me and my Brother need to spend some quality time together because it’s been too long. I’m of course referring to my @brotheraustralia sewing machine. Yes - I look adoringly at it like in photo 2 often.
I felt like the school holidays flew past and after a roller coaster of a week 1 (it was like my year 4 boys banked all their energy over the break and released it all this week) I’m so ready to sit down and sew.
I ABSOLUTELY need to get cracking on my wedding dress (yes, I may not have started. Yes, it may be 2.5 months until my wedding. Yes, I am moving in the next few weeks, have reports, have a job with a killer commute, have a new classroom to move into, and just you know, sleep!) But this weekend is all about me, the machine and making some summer teacher clothes.
Bring. It. On.
This beautiful #VQ3000 machine was gifted to me by @brotheraustralia and I adore it more than words. Y’all know I’m such a Brother fan so let me say that I’m completely bias when it comes to this machine. Not because I was given it, but because I’m a complete brandist (total snob of all machine that are not Brother. And I’ve tried them all). Also - I’m actually wearing my first ever indie pattern I sewed. It’s the #fringedresspattern from @chalkandnotch and it’s about 3 sizes too big but I made it in this vintage sheet from @vinniesnsw and I couldn’t dare ever part with it.
What are you sewing this weekend?
