I’m not gonna keep contemplating on sharing my progress because it’s “not enough” IT IS ENOUGH! I have lost inches and weight that once hung over me.. that means I am one step closer to my goal. I am not ashamed of the amount of hard work and dedication I am putting into my health and my fitness. I AM PROUD OF MYSELF and just because I don’t look “socially acceptable” for being “fit” ... doesn’t make my work any less important
I am so proud of every inch and every pound I have lost and continue to lose. The only time I am losing is when I am not doing my workouts or eating right... so you could say IM FREAKING WINNING
Ahi Tuna on Toast with Cherry and Pecan Cream Cheese
This thick cut ahi tuna steak was pan seared on both sides then split down the middle to reveal it's vibrant center and create the foundation for this omega rich toasty treat. Toasted whole seed pumpernickel is topped with all natural cream cheese unsweetened dried cranberries and roasted raw pecans. Finished simply with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.

When I ask my personal training clients what they find to be the hardest thing to master with nutrition, their answer is almost always meal prep. Not even necessarily how to meal prep, but finding the time to do so.
The one tip I can give for finding time to meal prep is to simply prep your foods during the least busiest time of your week. And for all of you that say you don’t have any down time what so ever, honestly question to yourself how important are your fitness goals to you really. Because in all honesty, you will need to make more then just one sacrifice if you want to change your body. Do the things you’ve always done to get the results you’ve always gotten.
Find a way to make time in your week where you can dedicate to cooking a bunch of food at one time so that you don’t have to worry about making more throughout the week. We all know what happens when you don’t have food made. You end up going for what’s easiest and quickest which is typically never the food that’s going to move you closer to your goals.
So my simple tip for meal prep is to MAKE TIME during your week where you can dedicate to preparing your nutrition for the week. That way you can grab a container of food and run out the door instead of trying to figure out what bar, snack, or cookie you should grab that’s least toxic to your progress.
