I’ve struggled with my weight throughout my childhood and during college (go Dawgs) I was able to get to a healthy weight for the first time in my life through spending hours at the gym weight lifting, playing basketball, and running multiple miles daily. However, after years of a sedentary job and not focusing on my nutrition, the weight crept up and I found my self well over 200 pounds and getting feedback from my doctor that was scary. I knew I had to get my health in check…
However, even after watching Meg take control of her health and start living her better life, I knew I wanted to get healthy but wanted to wait for the PERFECT time to start. Months later, I continued finding excuses to not get healthy.
Finally, when Meg (my wife) started health coaching, I decided there would never be the perfect time to get my health in check and I started my journey.
After 10 weeks of getting my nutrition in check and working with my amazing health coach (heart), I lost 35 pounds and weighed the same as I did in college!!! Not only have I been able to get the weight off and keep it off for over a year and a half, but this program has taught our family how to live our best life!
I’ve decided share the success I’ve had in order to help others who might feel like I did. No matter where you are in life – there is never a perfect time to try something new (whether that be your health, relationships, jobs, etc.), but I know from experience that you will not change if you don’t take action.
