Hey everyone! @turabbhh here again. #Today I want to introduce to you the people who have had the most impact on my #exchange, my #host families. They have not only #welcomed me with #openarms but also taught me about #Indonesian #culture and #food. I have had three host families so far as we have been moving from #citytocity.
The first is where I met my good friend Aje. Eventhough, I only spent 3 days with him, it feels like I have known him forever. He was the #perfect first person to #host me because I have yet to meet a more #hospitable person. I don't I have ever seen Aje not smiling. I learned a lot from him especially that your sincerity to other people can go a very long way in your relationships.
I then met Zadly. We have a 7 year age gap but that didn't stop us from having fun; from watching #movies and the #worldcup in the theatre to #snorkelling on a beautiful island, I absolutely loved every second of my time with him. He also introduced me to "bubur" (I think i spelled that right), one of my favourite Indoensian #delicacy.
Last but not least is the family that I am staying with now. They have the cutest youngest daughter, Fia. She's is probably the #sassiest person out there. Most of the time, I don't know what she is saying but I understand everything because she is so full of #expressions. Also, she loves doing #kareoke and playing #Uno (#DoratheExplorer version). I have been absolutely #blessed to have gotten the chance to stay with them. I cannot thank them enough.
