It has been some time since we last went out on a small adventure, so today we visited the High Angle Batteries on Portland. This location is also affectionately known as "The Ghost Tunnels" Built in 1892 the battery was built to defend Portland Harbour. However, after only a short stint the Battery was decommissioned in 1906 and has been left to fall into disrepair.
This area is known for its ghostly voices being heard, small stones being thrown and a figure of a man stood in the entrance of one of the doorways. Some people have even reported small flesh founds appearing on their head whilst exploring the tunnels.
