THE PARLIAMENT PROJECT || Three years ago, I imagined a dinner party, where strangers would break bread, share, cry, and open up. Show up nervous but leave with a sense of freedom and pride about who they are as people.
My motivation in creating this experience admittedly comes from my own resistance and fear of living in a world where our phones and attachment to social media steal our innocence and love of human interaction. The best experiences I’ve had online will never measure up to the experiences I’ve had IRL. Why? Because they aren’t made of the same things. One cannot replace the other and therein lies my fear. The Parliament Project can be seen as a disruption to the norm - a space to unplug and heal.
With that said, I’ve been lucky to host two PPs (with a third one coming up next week...) and I believe the Parliament Project serves as proof that if you roll the dice and bet on vulnerability, you will surely inspire others to do the same. I truly cannot wait to dine, sip, share, and grow with this experience. Sneak peek: Next week’s PP workshop is about ‘how you perceive you and how others perceive you.’ Cannot. Wait.

If you are not located in LA, please apply as we will be taking this to other cities. And huge thanks to @ritualrebellion for making this thought become a thing. Hope to see you at the table, beauty birds! #theparliamentproject #whereskincarebecomesselfcare
