Gianni’s at the Villa is truly superb! I know you’re like “calm down guy.” because I used the word superb but it’s true! The food is unquestionably good. A friend and I started with Spanish Octopus which was to DIE for (well... if you like octopus.. but if you don’t then... you get what I’m trying to say..) which consist of Polenta A Limone, Baby Heirloom Tomato, Chorizo, and Basil Chimichurri. 🔥Next came out our main dishes. My friend had Orecchiette, (FUN FACT: Orecchiette is a pasta that is nicknamed “Little Ears” because they look like little ears) which includes Broccolini, Italian Sausage, Garlic, Lemon, Pecorino Romano, & Olive Oil. Now.. I’m going to talk about my dish.. brace yourself.. I had the 20 oz Certified Black Angus Bone-In Ribeye. It was exceedingly good, definitely in the top best steaks I’ve had. Omg I also ordered their side of Truffle Potato Purée (SIDE NOTE: the steaks do not come with sides.. I know.. it’s the same feeling as not getting free shipping) but back to the “mash”... hands down best mash potatoes I’ve ever had... that thang was so good it made me forget I was paying $13 for one ice cream scoop of Mash Potatoes 🤤 Gianni’s is not just a dinner but an experience. The restaurant previously was the home to Gianni Versace. Every detail in the interior design embodies Giannis taste. It’s pretty remarkable to be there inside of what used to be his home. During your dinner you can walk around and take photos. I recommend you make a reservation, and also know it’s a bit pricey.. more than a bit actually loll but as expected. So wait till y’all taxes drop and then call and make a reservation, you won’t regret it.
