The viola in this bowl makes me happy. Actually the nutrition in the bowl makes me happy as well!

While to some people this may look like a meal to spike your blood sugar but to me it is about portion control.
There is only 1/2 cup of gf oats, 1/4 of a Granny Smith apple which has a lower glycemic value than a typical red apple, the blueberries and the strawberries also have a lower glycemic value than other fruits.

I added Maca to the oatmeal once it was cooked. If you don’t know about Maca I suggest you do a little research on it to see if it is right for you. It has been noted to be high in antioxidants, and nutrients; some of which are iron, magnesium, zinc. As well as essential fatty acids.

Then of course cinnamon, and a small portion of natural cashews, raw pumpkin seeds, raw cacao and natural nut butter.

All in all it filled my tummy and kept me going to my mid morning veggie snack. It was just right for me👌

Viernes si se ño res ! ! ! Me desperte en la estancia La Candelaria, un lugar que no entienden lo que es, a hora y media de bs as. Es realmente un castillo, el agua caliente no es infinita y los cuartos no tienen tele - toda una experiencia. Admito que me dio miedo dormirme ayer despues de escuchar la historia de la familia, pensar de quien habia sido mi cuarto y darme cuenta que tenia un espejo gigante en frente de mi cama (que era la puerta de un placard que nunca me anime a abrir😓). A la noche hicimos fogon, canto un payador y vinieron a bailar folklore - 1810 un poroto😂 Ah! Y las estrellas de la noche... infinitas. Jamas conte tantas lo juro. Increible experiencia de desconexion absoluta.
Les paso la receta de estos muffins: naranja y chocolate un solo corazon.
> 1 naranja (jugo + ralladura) @mediocampo.organico
> 1/2 taza salvado de avena
> 1/4 taza harina trigo sarraceno (o mas salvado / avena)
> 1 huevo + 3 claras @eggcellencearg
> 6 cdtas stevia
> extracto de vainilla
> 1 cdta polvo de hornear
> opcional: chocolate 100% cacao @drcacaochocolates
🔛 Procesa todo menos el chocolate y volca en molde de silicona. Si queres con choco, picalo y agrega sobre los muffins crudos. Cocina en horno media hora y disfrutalos este fds de lluvia!!!

Sembra tonno ma non lo è. Mentre mangiavo sentivo un sapore oserei dire "speciale" e sono andata a leggere ed era storione sott'olio: troppo, troppo buono 😍 Era una di quelle confezioni in vetro risalente sicuramente a qualche regalo di Natale 🤔
Comunque io ormai sono nel mood insalata, quest'anno non per qualche perverso motivo ma perché io già soffro troppo il caldo (e siamo solo ad aprile) e non ho voglia di altro. Ora mi sto sognando un'altra insalata specifica che ho già fatto tempo fa. Spero di comporla a breve così ve la mostro 😏

Made some creamy coconut milk porridge yesterday with broiled papaya and pineapple, toasted pumpkin seeds, dried apricots, @traderjoes almond butter, a sprinkle of coconut sugar, and @dangfoods coconut chips on top ✨ FYI this papaya was grown by the lovely @tylerjpridemore ☺️ papaya is not very sweet but very mellow and can be incorporated into anything~ Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!

no better way to kick off my first day of summer break (although there is still snow on the ground... 🤔) than with some sweet potato cashew butter pancakes! 🥞💕
I’ve been eying the beautiful @sara.haven’s pancake recipe for a while, and this morning seemed like the perfect time to give it a try! I must admit, I’ve always been intimidated to make pancakes 🙈 no matter what, they always end up sticking to the pan or breaking, and just being a complete mess. despite this, I gave it a go this morning, and I’ve gotta say - I’m pretty proud of how they turned out! 😊 you can find the full recipe on Sara’s page, and I highly recommend you give them a try!

I figured out that I have a certain food addiction pattern. I tend to eat the same type of food for a certain period of time until I'm bored & then will start another food addiction.

Totally agree with this. Who cares about a number on the scale it’s all about how your feel. If you live a balanced healthy lifestyle that is sustainable and deprivation free, reaching your goals will be easier and long lasting. I couldn’t think of anything worse than stressing about counting calories or weighing food or over-exerting myself in the gym to lose some stupid number on a dumb scale lol. If i make healthier choice the majority of the time and moving my body every day I know I will eventually reach my goals. Don’t put pressure on yourself 🦋
