๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ from @mariandivilek - 19th / Day 4 ๐ŸŠ of our orange yoga challenge goes on with the last #standingpose (which is also an #inversion) #prasaritapadottanasana or the #wideleggedforwardbend. It's a fundamental pose and a regular part of #Ashtanga practice.
1. Take a wide (doesn't have to be very wide) stance (adjust it to your needs, respect how open your hips are), your toes may slightly point inwards. Inhale and go down on exhale laying your hands on the mat, if possible into one line with your feet (if you feel pain in the back of your knees, get your feet narrower).
2. With the next inhale straighten your back as if wanting to get the spine longer.
3. With exhale try to place your head between your palms. Don't force it. Don't hold your breath. Breathe 5x.
4. On the next inhale straighten your back first and on exhale put your hands on your hips.
5. Get up completely on the next inhale. ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŠ ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘ Stay careful, listen to your body and don't forget to breathe! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’ช

Days 4 (Crescent ๐ŸŒ™ Lunge) and 5 (Wide-legged Forward Fold) for #BalanceYourAsana
I took yesterday off. The boy and I ended up taking a 3.5 hour nap. ๐Ÿ˜ด Iโ€™m guessing that second trimester energy is dwindling.
For Day 4, the sun is totally bleaching out my face but it feels so great!! Still adjusting to how cold the PNW is compared to CO.
For Day 5, I have two photos. If you swipe to the last one I call that my โ€œHow a preggo ties her shoesโ€ pose. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thank gawd I do yoga or else my chucks would be obsolete at this point. Holy Bump Batman.
You canโ€™t really see them, but I have ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ๐ŸฆŠ on my socks. Just thought I would share that with you all. Lmao.
