Vineyard visitors today... Tío Sergio and el primo Carl with Eliot too!
The winter in #Mendoza is gorgeous. Sunny during the day and cold at night. #Wine grapes love this diurnal temperature variation (DTV) during the growing months (from fruit set through veraison). Why? The heat of the day encourages sugar accumulation while the cool of the night slows ripening and preserves acidity in the grapes facilitating beautifully balanced wines.
Semi-arid high altitude wine regions like Mendoza are blessed with great DTV.
Hand bottling and waxing magnums of our 2016 Morisoli-Borges Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Sinalunga, two of our very limited production, high-end wines. They will spend another year in the bottle before release.#betterwithage
