After a little hiatus, we're back! Tonight's wine is Robert Mondavi Napa Valley 2014 Fumé Blanc. It's a Sauvignon Blanc with a smidge of Semillion. It paired nicely with our sushi takeout . There are lemon and floral notes on the nose. On the palate there are notes floral, peach, sweet almond, and a hint of vanilla. It's acidic and crisp. We tried this wine several years ago and did not care for it (too acidic) glad we gave it another try! #saturdaynight#weekendvibes#wineandchill
Seared rare ahi tuna steak atop an arugula garden salad dressed with a sesame balsamic vinaigrette. Enjoyed with a floral and fragrant rose that’s pale pink in colour that is teasing with tartness dry with subtle hints of sweetness the 2016 Cedar Creek Platinum Pinot Noir Rose.
