After trying my 1st sour/gose style a few months before I was still on the mission to find even more great beers in that style. On a warm night in August of 2015, my husband said he found a local brewery that was known for making sours. I was so excited to hear this, even more so to know it was only 15 mins away.
Shortly after, we arrived at Scorched Earth Brewing. (Cute taproom if you've never been - definitely recommend it)
Looking at the tap list I saw lots of great sounding beers but one really caught my eye - Sweetie Pie. Strawberry and Rhubarb Gose. This beautiful golden liquid hit my lips and I was hooked. My first 5 start rating on untapped.
I've since been picking Sweetie Pie by @scorchedearthbrewing in bottles since then.
