Gratitude will change your life.™ 😁
When things go wrong and you aren't feeling your best, the last thing you want to do is be thankful, right?
Here's a way to flip it. If you hold the thought that everything that happens in your life happens for your ultimate good, you can change your attitude and be thankful right now for where this journey is taking you. Because you know it will ultimately be good!
I know that is easier said than done but hear me out.
Being grateful is an effective and proven way to cope with stress and trauma.
Us humans have the tendency to focus on the negatives. And who's to blame us, life is what it is. But Gratitude accentuates the positives and takes our attention off the negatives. It's a brilliant hack to feel better when you feel down.
The more you think about what you are grateful for, the more things to be grateful for you will remember and the more you will attract (Any Law of Attraction buffs here?😁) When you start a train of positive thought like this, the only way to go is us up👆👆.
Ways to use gratitude to find healing:
👉Be thankful for your small wins. For every progress you make in your journey to healing, no matter how small. Soon, you will have big things to be thankful for.
👉Be thankful for and celebrate your strengths. Doing this can help you feel better about yourself.
And my favourite way to use gratitude is to be thankful in advance for what I want. "I am thankful that I am healed"
Start now by saying:
🌻I am thankful for where I am because it is taking me where I want to be.
🌻I am thankful for my pain because of the growth it will bring.
Make gratitude a daily practice by using a Gratitude Journal or just add gratitude to your daily journaling practice. Everyday, write 5 things you are grateful for in your journal.
Let's get started right away! What's one thing you are grateful for right now?👇👇👇
