Pesto pasta night 😋 Our homegrown: Italian Genovese basil, lemon basil, and garlic (our last clove!!). Local chicken... and surprise, surprise... a little side of fresh asparagus from the garden this morning!
This one took me back a few years. Twenty years ago, I got my first paying job, working on campus at the university cafeteria. I rotated around various parts of the cafeteria - dishroom, kitchen cleanup, meal prep, server, and cook. When I cooked, I had the pesto bar. We did pesto pasta, pesto wraps, pesto chicken... you get the idea 😅 I used to come back to the dorm so many nights smelling like garlic 😂😂😂 Good times!
