T R A I N I N G, has not only honed my body but my mind. Something about successfully pushing yourself through a difficult set over and over again, session to session has no choice BUT to inevitably affect other parts of your life. I like to look at difficult days, weeks, months...hell, even years as those “difficult sets” to remind myself that no matter how hard they felt in that moment ..the fact that I am able to be here typing this caption right now is proof that I had the fortitude to get through that shit. #Life mimics the #mental changes you go through in training, as a result of “tests” (attempts for personal records). A lot of times during difficult periods of life, you may almost psych yourself out, you most likely will be nervous, angry, curse—shit—you may even want to give up... BUT those who train/have trained to be #elite know that the previously mentioned is all part of the process. After enough tests and trials, we eventually realize that it all works out when we #PUSHTHROUGH. So, if you regularly train and are going through life...even if you don’t train, I challenge you to adopt this outlook. However, please note that doing so won’t make the process less painful ..but you WILL know it’s all worth it in the end. - #NIATHLETE .
