Listening to our candidates and clients, understanding what they truly want and what they are looking for is so important! “I cannot fully explain how much I love this job. I come into work and I’m challenged constantly, I do things I’ve never done before and there’s not one day that goes by where I think “I hate this job”. I’m actually so desperate to stay in this job for as long as I can. I know that I’m doing a good job for March, but knowing I’m doing a good job for my manager gives me such a sense of pride.” – March Recruitment Temp Worker
Some days I feel like I’m unstoppable. Other days I’m pretty sure I’m screwing everything up. Some of this is a result of seeing everyone’s “highlight reels” on social media. But mostly, this is a result of not having faith in myself. It’s a result of comparing myself to others instead of the me I was yesterday, last year, or 5 yrs ago.
But TODAY, today is not one of those days. Today I’m strong and motivated to take the day by storm. I’ll do great things and move that mountain bc I can.
Fun fact: Our own Architectural Technician, Bryan Gatlin, is not only skilled in providing innovative design solutions for Gray’s world-class projects…he’s also an accomplished stand-up comedian!
After realizing his passion for comedy in college, Bryan honed his craft for years—making people laugh every step of the way. He’s performed at shows throughout Kentucky and surrounding states, opened up for some “slightly famous” comedians, and even won several competitions including a “Funniest Person in Lexington” contest! He also helped create Lexington’s favorite satire newspaper: The New Circle Circular! Bryan, thank you for all of your hard work with Gray…and for making us smile with this awesome #HiddenTalent story! #GrayFamily
Happy to see hump day 🤪
Woke up this morning ready to conquer the day. But really I rolled out of bed after hitting the snooze button a couple of times. Who are the early birds who hit the gym in the AM? For me, I can never get out of bed. But I always MAKE time right after work to go.
Make the gym/fitness class/whatever you do a priority. Struggling to get yourself to the gym? Go at the same time every day. Be consistent. Give yourself a goal of how many times you can go a week and meet that goal. Tell others to hold you accountable. It gets easier and easier and before you know it, it’s not a “have to make time for the gym” it’s a “of course I always go to the gym” kinda routine.
Life isn't always peaches and roses, especially not when you're in lack of sleep (hello, #motherhood!) - in those moments, all you can do is to keep pushing through, not being too hard on yourself, see the bigger picture and surround yourself with good people
Today (and everyday), I'm grateful for the support and inspiration from the badass women in my network. We're stronger together You're gold @linesofieandersen and @lynnbruines
