Day 1️⃣ of LIIFT4 done

After getting my butt kicked into shape with my last fitness program, 80 Day Obsession, I thought today would be no problem.

Wow was I mistaken. When you are not even half way through and your arms are shaking you know this program is no joke!

I still struggle with tricep push ups but I am going to keep practicing everyday until I get it.

So excited to continue to see what I can accomplish and to have my husband join me this time!

Vi capita di non essere motivati?

Ormai nell’ambito del fitness va tanto far vedere quanto sia sempre tutto facile e liscio.. Gente sempre presa bene che fa storie e mette post motivazionali a bomba ...ma siamo sicuri che sia la realtà?

La realtà ragazzi è che capiterà sempre che ci siano momenti no, giornate storte, sofferenze mentali a volte più che fisiche!
Il lavoro che vi tormenta e le responsabilità che vi assillano!

È un dato di fatto!

Ma allora cosa possiamo fare?

Per quanto mi riguarda è fondamentale essere disciplinati!
La vostra forza di volontà deve trascinarvi dentro quella sala a fare il vostro allenamento anche quando siete svogliati!
Anche quando La ragazza vi ha mollato!
Anche quando sembra che tutto vada storto!

Lasciate fuori dalla palestra i vostri problemi e spingete forte i dannati pesi!

Perché la motivazione non dovete aspettarla dal vostro coach, dal vostro amico di allenamento.. La motivazione che vi serve è solamente dentro di voi!

Tiratela fuori
Reagite a una vita che non sempre è liscia e facile come quella che si vede sui social ❤️👌

The scale is a tool that is used to help to track progress. That’s all it is. Just a tool. However for many people, it can be seen as something where you hold your self worth. It can sometimes determine your mood throughout the day.. and it can make or break progress.. DONT LET IT CONTROL YOU.. there are many factors involved to determine someone’s weight.

👉 water fluctuation 👉 food stuff from the night before
👉 sodium
👉 hormones 👉 bloating
.
When we do biweekly check ins we use many different tools.
👉 progress pictures
👉 measurements
👉 bio feedback such as your mental health and how do you feel
👉 performance indicators such as strength improvements.
.
Other tools which can be used are:
👉 skinfold calipers to measure bodyfat
👉dexa which measures bone density
👉underwater measures which is called “Hydrostatic“ weighing.
.
Those measurements can be costly and aren’t convenient to the every day individual. .
.
My advice is to just focus on looking and feeling better.
👉 mood improvements?
👉 has sleep improved?
👉 are your clothes fitting better?
👉 compliments from family and friends?
.

First dry tooling training day. Great training day with @jholloway77 leading the way on two routes. It was -1C and snowing lightly and no crowds, just two other parties climbing nearby.
These routes were D5 and the climbing was fun. After the first climb I switched from dual points to mono points. I learned that monos are muchbetter than dual points for dry tooling. With monos, so many more placements became possible and the difficulty easily dropped 1-2 grades. It was so much easier, I felt like I was cheating.
