EXERCISES FOR LOWER ABDOMINALS 🎥 swipe for video

Contrary to what some people might believe, your abdominal muscles are in fact one muscle. There aren’t upper, middle, lower or side abdominals. The whole muscle group works together to perform movements of the trunk. .
However 😎 when we move our legs and lower backs we are able to “target” the lower abdominal muscles more effectively.
.
Remember that when your legs are working in movements like these 😉
it is CRUCIAL that you maintain a neutral pelvis, this will allow your lower abdominals the opportunity to work for you. If you aren’t able to maintain a steady neutral pelvis then you should work with your lower back pressed down into the mat. 👌🏻
.
The one thing we DONT ❎ want in these types of exercises is a arch in the lower back, if this should occur, it can suggest that the over dominance of your hip flexors and lower back are over powering the muscles that should be in use in this case the 💡LOWER ABDOMINALS .
Tips: ✅ be sure to contract and use your pelvic floor, this aids in keeping your core contracted so that you can work without compensation

Day 250/365: Shoulders to move boulders.

Decided to focus on my shoulders. I feel like I neglect them yet they’re the ones that actually show gainz. Haha.

Unlike when I always try to focus on my calves and they still don’t grow. Fail. Oh well. Gains are gains lol 😝
