Hi, Sygnii! Sasha, your On-Site Trainer here, excited to bring you the first #SygniiWorkoutoftheMonth! This first workout is a total body sequence designed to a) get you oriented to the gym, b) work your upper and lower body, and c) get that heart rate up! Below is the breakdown, and watch the video to see how each exercise is done.
Warm-ups: Take 5-10 minutes to get your body and muscles warm. I especially recommend tapping into your quads (front of your legs) and shoulders.
Workout: Set a timer for 15 minutes and perform AMRAP (as many reps as possible) before time runs out. Keep track of this and try to get more reps in each time you work out during the month of July!
1 - PAUSE SQUATS: 10-12 reps
2 - ALTERNATING OVERHEAD PRESS: 10-12 reps
3 - ROCKING PLANKS: 15-20 reps
Finisher: Complete the following 3-8 times, depending on your conditioning level and how your body is feeling!
BATTLE ROPES: 20 seconds work, 20 seconds rest
