Or maybe how her drive toward her goals is what resulted in our friendship in the first place? How many people do you know would drive 20 min and show up at your house at 6:00 am to workout with you...knowing you won't be ready , your house is a wreck and there WILL be distraction and interruption in the form of #3prettylittlegirls?
Our husbands work for the same fire dept She's become one of my best friends simply from catching wind that I did this Beachbody thing....or maybe it was through my oversharing on FB. Doesn't matter. We didn't know each other and she reached out anyway.
She's not a #Shakeologydrinker or #Energizeaddict. She does what works for her, and thankfully what works for her is driving her a$$ over here everyday so we can PUSH EACH OTHER! And laugh, and gossip...and sometimes drink afterward. ♀️ Hey, we're livin' life right, people.

There’s no way I would still be doing this if I had not said yes to a coaching opportunity 3 years ago. I would’ve done two months of challenge groups and faded away.
I’d still be exhausted, insecure, overweight and overwhelmed... running from myself, from others, from my future and my eternity.

Mid week update- I’m tired AF . So it was nice that today was Pilates day because I don’t have energy to jump around today haha. I had a migraine on Monday and Tuesday so Monday I rested and yesterday I did a little yoga. I think it helped since I feel much better today.
A big welcome back to this cheeky devil, after a couple of weeks spent on a work trip in Vanuatu.
Kel’s returned rested, refreshed and ready to attack her next block of training. As my clients know well, I am a big advocate of doing everything you can to manage stress. Seeing Kel’s form this morning after her mini tropical getaway is testament to how much positive change can occur once stress is alleviated, coming back moving better and looking leaner!
And just like that, another Murph is DONE!
When Alex walked in this morning, I gave her a nice “surprise”... we were doing it “the real way”.
My exact words were something like,
“Oh by the way... we’re doing ALL 300 squats before ALL 200 pushups and then ALL 100 pull-ups... with a weighted backpack (10-lbs).
She may have responded with a, “I hate you right now” but guess what? We survived and both had a huge workout high AND raging appetite.
We made it through the mile, the squats, the push-ups and 50 pull-ups with the weighted vest (which we do STRICT) before tossing it to the side and finishing off the other 50 and the last fun.
But this workout is supposed to be hard. It’s a great reminder that people gave so much for US, we can suck it up and do this workout for an hour of our lives. Right? That’s why I LOVE doing it every year. Some do it because everyone else in the wod world is doing it... I do it because it allows me to pay tribute in one of the only ways I know how

Of course she doesn’t want me to do this but she’ll still me... HUGE shoutout to my #workoutwife , my #swolesister Mary for this amazing 9 month transformation. She is a beautiful mother of 3, a labor/delivery nurse working crazy a** shifts and has still found time to dedicate to training and some much needed ‘me’ time. As one of my BFF’s all we have done is change up her training. Including heavier lifts, to create more lean muscle, added short bouts of #hiit type cardio, and less days of it, and nothing has been controlled by stepping on a scale. Mary’s diet hasn’t changed AT ALL and she considers #cereal and #cake as her major food groups... This is her last year in her 20’s and the gains in #confidence I’ve noticed have far outweighed the gains from the weight floor. The #gym is the best form of therapy and the fitness family is there cheering you on every. single. day. Did I mention Mary joins me at 5am to make sure her workout gets in before her busy day? Talk about dedicated! She is setting a great example for her children to lead a healthy lifestyle. Taking care of your health is far from selfish, it is necessary! You MAKE TIME for the things you want the most in life. Choose to put yourself more on your schedule. My goal in life is to change yours. I hope you find inspiration in my posts and I’m not thirsty for likes, or thrive by comments. I’m happily satisfied and gloating when you choose to believe in yourself.
