@strapospheresg have been on a tear lately, sending their straps to various watch geeks to get their opinions and impressions on their new StrapoWAFFLE strap. I was lucky enough to be included in this list 🙏🏻. Here are some of my thoughts on the strap:
The material used for the strap is very lightweight, soft, and comfortable against the skin. I’ve put it on my Tudor Black Bay and haven’t taken it off yet. It effortlessly wraps around my wrist and is so comfy to wear. Some straps that I’ve bought before look and feel cheap when I put them on the Black Bay despite looking great on their own. The StrapoWAFFLE does not suffer from this.
Despite the chunkyness and weight of the watch, the strap was able to hold its own. The watch did not flop around on my wrist at all. This is pretty impressive considering that the strap isn’t very thick. It’s also a plus that dust or lint doesn’t get stuck on it easily.
It was hard for me to find any gripes about the strap. I guess if I had to nitpick, I’m not really a fan of the engraving on the buckle. It is quite shallow so the branding gets lost in the buckle’s brushed finish. Another minor gripe is the ample space where the springbars are inserted, so it is a bit loose. However, as I said, these aren’t really major issues.
TL;DR: Would I personally buy them for my watches? Yes I would - J
