I haven’t been tracking my food since before my surgery, but I have been semi attempting to make healthier choices because hello wedding in less than three weeks!! I got some essentials at the store today, which included fresh fruit and some @nature_valley granola that just sounded delicious, if not point friendly ♀️
I know I have said it a lot and I shouldn’t let excuses derail my progress, but not having a kitchen is HARD AF. At least for the first six months of our renovation I had a fake kitchen to work with, but the last two months we haven’t had a sink, stove, oven, basically we only had a microwave and fridge, and that has been way harder than expected. When I started @weightwatchers I was successful because I was able to cook for myself 95% of the time, and staying on track when I can’t do that has been near impossible for me. Thankfully we are finally getting our granite countertops installed on Thursday, which means the sink and cooktop can be placed, and the dishwasher can get inserted! Once that is all done I will regain full use of my kitchen which means meal prepping and actually cooking instead of eating out all the time will go back to being my normal routine!
I am pumped to get back into the kitchen and whip up my old time favorite recipes, and a few new ones I earmarked to try once I had a kitchen again! Until then I’ll enjoy eating this bowl of fruit while planning out which rooms we’re painting first and playing with Boone.
