Our restaurant is urgently seeking experienced line cooks to join the new Bottega on Whyte Ave location. The cuisine at Bottega includes classic Italian dishes. Preparing dishes in a timely manner with a focus on perfection is essential. The ideal candidate is an individual with a passion for cooking, a desire to learn and ability to work under pressure. Primary Areas of Accountability:
Prepping, cooking and presentation of dishes,
Performing alongside the Head Chef,
Communicate effectively to the Food Expeditor and other kitchen staff,
Lead the kitchen staff when necessary,
Adhere to all workplace safety and food safety/sanitation regulations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Clear communication skills,
Ability to work under pressure and have the dish ready to serve in accordance to bill time,
Ability to work well in a team setting,
Substantial food knowledge,
Ability to show leadership and display a positive attitude towards all staff in the restaurant.
Education and Experience:
2+ years of kitchen experience.
