This is a long post, but a marathon is a long race. I’ve cried a lot today because I can’t believe that I finished my first marathon and because I’m so grateful to have such amazing family and friends. To my wife, who has been so supportive and encouraging throughout training, even when it often meant giving up most of a weekend day, to my Mom, sister, brother-in-law, and two nieces who came from Syracuse to support me, to my in-laws who came from Westchester to support me and made sure I was well feed all week, to all the amazing people @novemberprojectbuffalo at water stop 4, to my cousin @stormyjimmy cheering me on at miles 7 and 13, to @flipyour20_ for going nuts at miles 8 and 22, to @stevielynlyn at mile 24 giving me belief that I had two more miles in me, to @cmalchow4 for joining me for the last mile and pushing me finish, to @sarahwkirke and @kelly_andolino for cheering me across the finish line, to @whiterihanna for training me to accomplish something I thought was impossible, and to everyone that offered support and encouragement along the way, THANK YOU! In large part because all of you, I now can say, I AM A MARATHONER!!!
