Try and try again.
My morning was full of inversion practice, Sammy boy (my doggie) and some little flows.
Yoga is easily the root of my fitness. I went to a couple classes here and there the past couple years (before I was ever mindful of my health) but really started taking it seriously about a year ago. I go through these little phases where I'm so in love with my yoga practice that I literally roll out of bed, splash some water on my face, brush my teeth, make some tea and go out on the porch for the most intense, sweaty, blissful yoga sesh. That usually lasts a week or two at a time and then I get distracted with going to the gym (and the gainz) that I totally put yoga on the back burner.
Lately I have never been so sure that I NEED yoga. It challenges me in ways that nothing ever has before. I'm a quick learner with most things. So, usually when I don't get something right away I just give up. Its different with yoga. My mind body connection is so real when I practice and there's something in me telling me "just keep trying". As with anything, practice makes perfect... (nothing is perfect it's just a saying). Find something that works for you and stick with it. Keep going when you feel defeated. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. It's a journey. Don't rush it. You'll never make it to the top without falling down a couple times.
Happy Sunday ya'll #namaste
