Today’s final circle / honoring ceremony was truly special and the card I chose β€˜Gratitude and Appreciation’ was so very fitting. I am extremely grateful and appreciative on so many levels after spending this week with a group of wonderful like minded women. I’m grateful to the other teacher trainers for their sharing and their beautiful words and love. I’m grateful to @kyliehennessy_ for facilitating such a beautiful, deep, nourishing, awakening Goddess Yoga (pre and post natal) teacher training. Like I said so many times today, this was not at all what I was expecting, but exactly what I needed, I have changed and will never be the same again, so appreciative Kylie πŸ™πŸΎπŸ˜˜! And I’m also so grateful and appreciative to myself for going to this course and doing the work and for the path I have chosen. This week has given me the opportunity to dive so much deeper into the sacred feminine, honour the Goddess and to reaffirm my β€˜why’. In November of 2016 I️ could have never imagined what my life would look like right now. By the end of the year I️ will have been sober, mostly - ( more on this later ) for 12 months, I’ll be in a new home, with a new car, on the verge of a BIG new business venture and ... single ... after a deep 7 year love. As I wait to board a plane to Melbourne for a weekend of study with @shaneymarie_sexwitch I’m pulling out my journal to start my 2017 year review. So before you start planning and dreaming about what 2018 holds for you - perhaps take a moment to pause and integrate what’s been. Just a random thought from departure gate 40. 😘

Yoga is by FAR the most effective tool I know to correct postural issues - if done correctly. This is why I stress correct alignment during yoga.
Good posture is related to less pain, better circulation, better digestion, more energy, better mood, and makes you look and feel confident and assertive, and can even make you appear thinner.
A lot of modern yoga and exercise classes perpetuate bad posture so be careful with which classes you do and who you choose as your teacher.
Once you have learnt good posture, and alignment techniques during yoga, your body will remember it so you don't have to think about it so much. Then, the practice becomes more and more internalised. But until then, learn about good posture and you will benefit so much.
I will do more posture posts this week and teach you the correct way to stand and sit, if you do either of those things for long periods of time, you know how painful it can become so I'll teach you to alleviate some of that pain.
