Work is of two kinds: first, altering a position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so. The first kind is unpleasant and ill-paid; the second is pleasant and highly paid. (Quote by - Bertrand Russell)
Still, this is the most impressive, the most inspiring rock I have ever seen! El Capitan (El Cap) in Yosemite is the giant of giants! Rising 3,000 feet above The Valley floor, it is the ultimate challenge for rock climbers, and the ultimate sight for everyone else! I remember when I glanced at El Cap for the first time, I completely lost it! I jumped out of the car and almost caused an accident...I was beyond ecstatic, and had to be restrained by the hubs! 🤪🤪🤪 No picture can come close to capturing the sheer size and magnificence of this amazing rock. You really just have to experience it in person!

Our National Park week officially started yesterday and I’m already obsessed with our first sleeping arrangements! A small cabin in Pinehurst, CA. Sorry not sorry for the picture overload the next few days! #YosemiteNP#SequoiaNP#KingsCanyonNP
I’ve spent the last week roaming around the country and I’m almost certain I’d be content to never go home again. I’ve slept amongst mountains in Colorado, swam in the desert of Nevada, driven through Valley of Fire and explored Yosemite, and I still feel like I’ve barely gotten started. Currently resting in San Francisco and gearing up for the second part of my trip. Next stop: Oregon
