Our voice is so very powerful. Our own voices hold our individual vibration. Speaking allows us to form our vibration into words which we share with the world. The words we speak help us express our emotions, thoughts, fears, desires, and more. Yet some of us choose not to share those words. Sometimes it may feel scary to speak our true emotions for a variety of different reasons. Maybe we are scared to come across rude, disrespectful, needy, insecure, offensive. Whatever the reason, it creates a wall from speaking how we truly feel. This wall may start off small- maybe from holding in a small comment about something that you may think is silly to bring up. But slowly that wall grows, brick by brick, until it is an impenetrable fortress. Each emotion that is not expressed, adds a row of bricks to the wall. Each fear that isn’t addressed and released, adds an additional row.
Remember who you are at your core. You are worthy of love and compassion. You deserve to be understood. This all begins with how you treat yourself. You must love yourself and treat yourself with compassion. Be kind and understanding to yourself. Once you remember who you are, chose to use your powerful voice. Chose to build respectful boundaries with yourself and others. Eventually the fear of judgement will melt away. The truth will shine through because it’s not your job to like me, it’s mine.
