“The squat is the perfect analogy for life. It’s about standing back up. After something pushes you down.” •
You see, wasn’t sure if I was going to post or not. But with thoughts running wild. Why not unleash here.... •
I’ve posted in the past. That the Crossfit thing, took a back seat. And that’s ok, but if anybody knows me. I’m not ok, with just ok. My weights, aren’t there. Cardio is hardie-yo. And consistency, working out three times on Monday doesn’t mean you can miss the rest of the week. This overhead squat... It’s not that much weight, just 135lbs. It’s just a single lift. No thrills. There’s no miracle snatch. And it’s not gymnasty. But this is for, working for what you want. There’s always more. And if you want more. You have to be putting in the work. The problem is. Most fall short of that work ethic. Life likes to throw curve balls at you, and beat you down. But when you are most down. That’s where you have to push back harder. Stand strong, head up, and be the best you can absolutely be. How you attack the bar, is how you attack life. Some of us like to play at our happy barbell weight. It’s safe. I’m ok here. Some of us dance at the edge of our comfort zone. But never quite get over. And the 1% of us, take a leap of faith. It maybe scary, and you don’t know what’s going to happen. But I’m more scared of staying stagnant, than I am of growing. And in my small circle. I’ve received some wonderful blessings, and I thank you guys for that. Seems to be at the perfect time... Letting passion drive. And heart navigate. •

Or maybe it had nothing to do with anything, and just everything to do with the @nomatterwhat_apparel “Power” crop top.
