Summer Programmes should be received this week. Below is a quick FAQ about the events - What events can we attend?
Events are "aimed at" certain areas due to transport and location limitations, however, if you can transport your young carers to an event further away from your hometown then you're welcome to sign them up to it. - How can we reserve a place?
You won't have a secured place if we don't receive the forms required. These can be sent in the post, scanned or photographed and sent via email.
Please don't send forms recorded delivery as the office so frequently doesn't receive these. - What if we reserve a place and then can't attend?
If your availability changes then please ensure you let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the spaces to other young carers. - How do you allocate places?
We allocate places on our events on a first come, first serve basis. So don't delay in reserving your space!
When an event fills up, we will aim to put this on social media. - What is the Fit Bit event?
Some of our Young Carers are participating in a Fit Bit project, this event is for those young carers. - The full details aren't on the programme, when will we know more information?
Some events have transport in place, however, we aren't able to organise them until we know who is attending so these will be arranged when we have a register.
Our activities co-coordinator will inform all attendees in advance of the full details of each event nearer to the time so please ensure your correct contact details are on your booking form. - Can I help out in any way?
We often have parents willing to assist in transport and this is welcomed. If you have space and are willing to car share to events then this is really appreciated - please do let us know.
