Do you ever stop to think that your body is the reason you get to walk, and talk and be here in this form having this incredible experience called life?🙏 In the past I used to get so caught up in obsessing over the size, the shape, the lumps and the bumps of my body. I’d get mad at her for looking a certain way and being a certain size. I’d speak horribly to her and fuel her with junk (out of retaliation of my strict diets) I’d be stressed, anxious and worried about her all of the time.... making for a very unbalanced, uncomfortable and unhappy relationship with her... wow... it’s no wonder I didn’t get the results I was striving for.
Maybe you can relate to this? Maybe you feel you’re currently at war with your body? I get it! But my lovely this HAS TO STOP!
Your body (and you) deserve all the love and respect in the world ❤️ She deserves nourishing with good food, with love and with kindness. She deserves respect. She deserves recognition for the incredible creation that she is! She does so much for you every day that is taken for granted.
So today, stop, take a moment and show your body some love. Your body is a temple, honour her!

As a Christian women in business, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and you need to keep it in good condition so God can work through you the way He desires to. Being excessively tired can adversely affect us and our spiritual life.
We dont have the desire or stamina to pray, we don't present the best witness to others - it is much easier to be grumpy and unable to walk in the fruit of the Spirit when we feel tired most of the time!

I encourage you to make room in your life for exercise. In my own life, I am not where I need to be yet, but I am trying and making progress. You will feel more confident, feel better and more energetic. You will accomplish more and enjoy what you do!

Lord, I acknowlegde that my body is Your temple and I want to rightly reflect You. Help me to discipline myself and give my body the excersice it needs.

Wenn beim Auto die Warnleuchten angehen, denken wir auch nicht nach und fahren sofort in die nächste Werkstatt und jedes Mal beim Tanken füllen wir den fürs Auto besten Sprit ein.

Bei uns selbst sieht das oft anders aus und wir denken uns "geht schon noch". Unser Körper hat auch Warnsignale, die er abgibt. Je eher wir sie wahrnehmen, umso besser können wir korrigieren und dem Körper das geben, was er braucht.

Dazu muss man nicht exzessiven Sport treiben. Jeden Tag ein bisschen Bewegung, vor allem in den Alltag eingebaut (Treppen statt Lift, zu Fuß oder per Rad statt mit dem Auto), ist da schon sehr wertvoll.

To me there's nothing that matches up to nature. I personally have a busy mind and every morning need to sit, chant, write or move upon waking. But every time I leave my routine to go outdoors I find that the sitting just happens, the mind space is just slower, the sense of wholeness is natural. My breath is fuller and deeper naturally. The yoga asanas just 'come'. According to yoga, a relaxed state is our natural state. One can most effortlessly tap into that state in nature. One can introspect and move into a wider perspective. The earth is naturally abundant and we are a part of it! This is why I host retreats - Because i want people to know themselves outside of 'what they do' and know that they are infinite already. I want their practice of yoga to go past the physical and into the essential. It's my desire to have as many people recognize that the life we lead in cities is not the reality we are confined to. It's my contribution to this world. I want to use to my time to remind myself and others that we have a deep connection to the earth, our home. It is when we can 'value' our home we will feel compelled to care for it. The physical changes are obvious, but the mental and spiritual ones are just as, if not more, important. Any health and fitness journey MUST be about treating your temple the way God intended. And I’m pretty sure He doesn’t care about the number on the scale. .
But you know what’s funny, when you start to eat and move your body in ways that help you feel your best, the scale usually follows. It’s like a little reward from heaven for taking care of the gift we were given.

Just keep in mind I am new to this so please bare with me as I’m learning. I’m a perfectionist and I like everything perfect( perfect in my eyes) before I start (one of the things that was holding me back from making this in the first place) for example I really wanted to be a little more educators in the YouTube life but I’ve learned that as God is purifying you and making you a better person you’ll be put through many test of your obedience to him so that you can learn to be disciplined in him. Also, simply there’s always something you can find wrong so I was like ima just do this the best way I can ! When in situations like this just stick to only the positive outcomes because it’ll all work out just fine and as you go you will get better ! If you don’t start how do you expect to finish so I’m starting and i’m happy about this. I just ask for your prayers as I’m praying for myself, because this is not easy for me to feel like I’m putting myself out to the world but this world needs Jesus, we all do. I’m going to talk about many different things on this channel and I accept constructive criticism and help ! Please feel free to help me if you’re more knowledgeable about editing and making videos. Just loved the color of this smoothie! Lately I’ve been enjoying a bit of green smoothie post breakfast for some increased greens and nutrition while I’m working especially as flu season is gearing up! 💪🏼

As I was walking into work today I was thinking about how much judgement goes on in the wellness space! Judgement from others maybe, yes, but more so judgement we put on ourselves!
.
We tell ourselves things like, “You’re not skinny enough”, “your thighs are too big”, “you’re not eating perfectly plated Buddha bowls”, etc...
.
It’s easy to get carried away with trying to do more, be more, have more, that we lose track of what real wellness is. Hint...it’s pretty minimal and doesn’t need any fancy barre classes (though I love a good barre class!).
.
Simplified wellness is all you need. It starts with a healthy mindset and moves into loving on your body, decreasing stress, eating nourishing foods, and moving daily. That’s it! It looks different for everyone and that’s ok! Find what makes you feel like you! Judgement free!
