Today we checked out the OC Zoo at Irvine Regional Park. I’m not a big fan of zoos but I do like the work they do here. All of the animals here are either injured, orphaned, or abandoned and are unable to live in the wild on their own.
They have black , mountain , bald , turkey vultures , barn , porcupines, coyotes, mule , bobcats, and lots of . There is a barnyard area with , , and potbellied . You can purchase feed for 25 cents a handful. It costs $2 per person (2 and under free) and $3-$5 parking.
Outside of the zoo area is a concession stand, a small lake where you can rent boats, bike rentals, and a playground area for kids. There are wild peacocks walking around the park too! Great for families.
