Fabriholic from a young age, quilter, trying to make the most of my short time on this earth

Just finished my 4th Everyday Tank from @indygo_junction ... such a great pattern... had to make it a little shorter than planned due to cutting carelessness on my part. The bias edging on this pattern is well worth the time and fabric it takes to prepare it... the measurements for the bias strips are spot on. I wear my Everyday Tanks year-round... perfect under a cardigan!

Bought the #fireflyquilt pattern by @penandpaperpatterns from @patterndrop, then realized the blocks were too big for potholders, so reduced the diagram and paper pieced these. I'm an inexperienced paper piecer, so did lots of ripping of teeny tiny stitches, but I'm super happy with how this gift for one of my wonderful daughters-in-law turned out.

I've had the #ryantop by @whitneydeal pattern for a while, and finally tried it out with a linen #vintagetablecloth that had some stains and spots to work around. I'll definitely make more, but I'll cut it with larger, more traditional seam allowances.

Needed a drawstring bag pattern, and @sewcanshe shared this one a few days ago. I added the zipper pocket on the front for a monster loving 8 year old... excellent pattern! #drawstringdittybag

My dress for one of my sons' wedding. Loved working with #ombreconfetti by @vandco for #showmethemoda... the chiffon? Pretty much a nightmare!

Trying to get caught up with #sewingavillage #stitchsupplyco, used my precious people charm squares from @official_basicgrey #saturdaymorningfabric, I've run out of doors and need to cut into another panel

Very happy with my big (30" x 30") block of @vandco #ombreconfetti for a #triparoundtheworldquilt. I'm thinking of making 4 blocks total for a throw, or adding along the borders for a larger finish.

Trying out some @vandco #ombreconfetti for my first #triparoundtheworldquilt. This is going to be a big block! I think I may have seen someone toss out the idea of this while I was mulling it over also, so I don't claim to be the first to consider this. This picture doesn't do justice to these gorgeous fabrics!

#sewingavillage Week 7 @stitchsupplyco ... had a full week, but these are so quick that I was able to work them in

#sewingavillage Week 6 (houses 41-48)... these are fun to work on!

#sewingavillage ...24 houses done, but really struggling with the roofs... more truthfully, I'm #sewingawonkyvillage, although I must admit, these are fun to make!

#sewingavillage very slowly! So excited to use Kona color swatch fabric @konacotton for the doors! Like choosing paint chips!!
