Last weekend we partnered with @whaleanddolphinorg, to bring our cleanup efforts to Scotland. Over 60 volunteers helped to cleanup Spey Bay in Moray, Scotland. The most interesting item found at the cleanup was a plastic Godzilla toy that one of the volunteers found washed up on the shore! Want to read more about our cleanup in Scotland. #WorldTurtleDay was created in 2000 by the American Tortoise Rescue. Turtles often mistake plastic bags as jellyfish; a food source they rely on. Today, we should continue to be kind to our oceans and remember turtles are affected by our actions. #4Ocean #JoinTheMovement *Disclaimer: This turtle was not touched by the divers*

Most of the trash in the ocean comes from land-based sources which are why cleanups are essential. They allow us to remove the ocean-bound trash before it reaches the sea. Every day our Cleanup Crew is out cleaning the ocean. Want to learn more about our cleanup efforts? Go to 4Ocean.com

By properly disposing of plastics, we can reduce the amount of the marine debris that makes its way to our ocean floors. What's something you've changed in your daily routine to eliminate your plastic use? #4Ocean #JoinTheMovement #OceanConservation

Meet our adopted whale Salt. She was discovered in 1976 and remains one of the most distinguished and photographed humpback whales in the world. Salt was named for her unusual white dorsal fin and is the mother of 13 whales as well as a grandmother of 11. She has helped whale researchers learn about the calving rates, migration, and behavior for her species. Want to adopt a whale like Salt? In the ocean, plastic debris can injure or kill fish, seabirds, and marine mammals. Marine plastic pollution has impacted at least 267 species worldwide, including 86% of all sea turtle species, 44% of all seabird species and 43% of all marine mammal species. The impacts include fatalities as a result of ingestion, starvation, suffocation, infection, drowning, and entanglement. By using less plastic, you can reduce the likelihood of marine life eating and become entangled in the garbage. ♻️What are some plastics you've eliminated? #4Ocean #OceanConservation #ConservationConversation #JoinTheMovement
