The very sweet and very adorable, Toyota! This handsome one-year-old boy absolutely loves people, and is looking for the perfect forever home where he can be best buddies with his new family. He loves to play, cuddle, and keep people company β€” he also gets along with other cats, but people are totally his favorite. He got his name after wandering onto the property of an employee at @toyotaofglendale β€” luckily, they’re friends of ours and we had space at the time, so they knew exactly where to bring him! He’s living in our Sanctuary and is patiently waiting to find a permanent place to call home. If you’d be interested in adopting him, please let us know πŸ’—

Have you heard about our Kitten Adoption Center? It just opened this month, and we have so many incredible kitties waiting to find their forever homes πŸ’— Before, adopters had to sometimes wait days or weeks before schedules lined up to meet our kittens, but now we’re open seven days a week to help you find your perfect match... or rather, your perfect meowtch! All you have to do is fill out our Cat Adoption Form online and email πŸ’Œ πŸ’Œ to make an appointment. We have all different colors, breeds, ages, and personalities. It’s never been easier to find the kitten of your dreams ✨🐱✨

Happy weekend, LA! Stop by our info booth at the @bfas_la NKLA super adoption event and meet our adorable bottle babies πŸ’•πŸΌπŸ±πŸ’• We’ll be helping @laanimalservices find homes for all the deserving shelter kitties, so come say hello! Together, we can save them all.

Aurora came to us as a loving and attentive mama, with 7 nursing kittens 🐱Shortly after she arrived, she became irritated with her kittens and started to hiss and swat at them. We feared that something was wrong, and indeed it was. She had a fever of 106 πŸ€’ We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they kept her overnight and got her fever under control.
The following day they noticed that one of her mammary glands was infected and later that afternoon she had severe discoloration and bleeding from the infected mammary gland. A fairly normal infection had developed into necrotic tissue and Aurora needed to have an emergency mastectomy. Aurora is recovering well from surgery in our Medical Isolation Ward and will return to the vet to have her drain removed in a few days πŸ’— She’s been such a champ through all of this and we are so proud of her, and we’re grateful to be able to ensure her recovery. Once she’s fully healed, we will work hard to find her an amazing forever home. .
Help us renovate and expand our Medical Isolation Ward by donating at the link in bio, so we save more cats like Aurora! We receive many dire medical cases each year, and the larger our medical ward, the more lives we can save ❀️ Even if you can’t donate, you can still help β€” all you have to do is join Team Kitten Rescue team and ask your friends to support you or share this post 🐈

Meet Leilani! This gorgeous 3-year-old girl recently arrived in our Sanctuary, and got right to work charming our staff and volunteers. Leilani is the hostess with the mostess, always happy to greet visitors, and she loves to make new friends. What would make her the happiest kitty in the world would be to find an amazing forever home, where she could keep you company all the time, and greet you at the door every day when you come home from work. If you'd be interested in adopting her, let us know! πŸ’•

This litter of six was dumped at our gate this morning sometime around 7am. We immediately gave them flea treatment and dewormed them, and thankfully one of our caretakers was willing to foster them, because we are over capacity and didn’t have anywhere to keep them β™₯️ .
Please know that if you find orphaned kittens, you can be their hero! Rescues and shelters have limited space, and all of us are almost always full, because we never stop taking in animals. We will help you foster them by providing free or reimbursed medical care, and give you access to all of our adoption resources β€” and we’re not the only rescue that does this! Even if you’re not in the LA area, most rescues and shelters will be more than happy to give you all the supplies, information, and resources you need to be an amazing, well-equipped foster parent 🐱🐢🐰
We know it can be confusing and scary to find a litter of kittens β€” most people don’t know how to handle that situation, and that’s okay! All it takes is a caring heart and willingness to learn, and we will provide all the support you need. #FosteringSavesLives

Have you met our newest cam room family? πŸ’— This adorable crew of seven babies and their mama includes four black and white tuxedos, and two tabbies (a few of which are pictured here). They’re such a sweet, goofy bunch, and you can watch them live 24/7 on our @exploreorg Kitten Cam! Visit to tune into their shenanigans any time 🐱

Move along folks, nothing to see here... except one of the most stunningly beautiful kittens on the face of the earth 😍 we just can’t get over those icy blue eyes β„οΈπŸ’Žβ„οΈπŸ’Ž (*he’s not up for adoption yet, so no inquiries please!)

Meet our latest medical case, Kai πŸ’™ We rescued this beautiful blue-eyed boy from East Valley Shelter, after he was run over by a car in someone's driveway and brought to the shelter. He had a fractured pelvis, two dislocated sacroilial joints, a dislocated tail and a fracture of the gambrel bone, which was sticking out of his skin! He had surgery last week at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital and now he is back at our medical ward at the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary for his recovery. It’s going to be a long road, but we’re not giving up - we will do everything in our power to help Kai grow into the strong, healthy cat we know he can be. πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›
We are currently raising money in The Saving Pets Challenge, so that we can save more animals like Kai. Our goal is to expand our medical isolation ward, allowing us to take in even more injured and special needs animals, who don’t stand a chance in city shelters - but we need your help. Click the link in bio to donate today and help us save kitties like Kai, OR to join our team and create your own Kitten Rescue fundraising page! You can help us spread the word, and truly be a part of our mission to save animals in need πŸ’•πŸ±πŸ’•
