We are very fortunate to work with the most amazing people around the park, who have experienced the benefits of the intensive protection of the elephants and how it has helped to bring stability and employment to the region. For those of you that have seen Zakouma in the dry season, it will be difficult to believe that this is Rigueik when it is flooded! While under water at the moment, this area is one of the peak game viewing areas in Zakouma during the dry seasons, where thousands of birds and mammals congregate around the remaining water pools.
