Photo @coryrichards Climbing is half dance, half force. Every year, the sport evolves beyond what is commonly held as ‘impossible’, begging the question of the minds role in sport. How much of what is accomplished physically is reflective of an individuals unique mental capacity, and why are some so much more adept and likely to break through ceilings once thought unbreakable? Canadian Rockies ice dwarfs an ice climber on Alberta Highway 93, also known as the Icefields Parkway.

Through Another Lens | Photograph by Charlotte Boyle (@charlotteboylephotography)

“Emerging from decades of isolation and military rule, Myanmar is full of endless contradictions and surprises,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Charlotte Boyle. “At a traditional old teak pagoda in Inwa (Ava), a Buddhist monk agreed to sit for a portrait. As we took pictures, his three novices disappeared, only to reappear clutching a couple of smart phones to document their own interpretation.”

“Charlotte, when I originally started thinking about the idea of this assignment, I wanted people to push the boundaries of what exploration meant. For me, this photo is beautiful because it captures what it means to be exploring an ever-changing world where technology mixes with tradition. The lighting is soft, the moment is sweet, and it leaves me feeling hopeful. Great job.” — @natgeo Explorer Becca Skinner (@beccaskinner)

#Followmeto Bali with @natalyosmann. ✣ This island is like a chameleon for me. First time we came here was around four years ago and we didn’t really understand the island. The problem was that we only went to the touristic spots and stayed mostly in Seminyak. ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ To really understand the island - you have to feel it and to seek for some hidden gems - you will see that it has a lot to offer: from the beautiful beaches of Uluwatu, to the peacefulness of Ubud. We managed to see the temples we haven’t seen before (though I regret, not waking up for Lempuyang temple on sunrise), managed to experience the ceremonies with local shamans and drove bike everywhere even it if was raining cats and dogs, found some really cool cafes in Seminyak with which we fell in love. This island is forever in our hearts. ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ ✣ Share your experience if you been there and how it changed if you came several times? What are your favorite places there? 🎵parcels: gamesofluck
