SOS!! Lennox must be rescued by tomorrow (3/21) or he will be PTS!!!! Please share with rescue organizations—Lennox is rescue only.
Please share! #A5153795 Lennox ~ Rescue Only ~ Lennox is a beautiful, sensitive boy. His surroundings have made him timid, but there is a deserving soul behind his sad eyes . Please SHARE him across the community. ---------------
A5153795 Lennox is a submissive 1.5-year-old black male #GermanShepherd who was found as a stray and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on February 26th. Weighing 50 lbs, Lennox is nervous in the shelter environment, and has tried to avoid contact with staff and volunteers. When taken out for an evaluation in the play area with other dogs, Lennox avoided contact with the staff and with the other dogs, but showed no signs of aggression toward either; in fact, the staff evaluation described his demeanor as “soft.” Because of his fearfulness, Lennox has been designated as available to LA DACC Adoption Partners only. He strikes us as a dog who will relax substantially outside of the shelter in the care of dog-savvy people, and we think he has great potential to be a wonderful companion. We hope a rescue organization will step up and give Lennox a chance.

The shelter does not disclose updates to me after the dogs are no longer in their care. Please contact them for any INFORMATION and/or UPDATES. Adoptions have to be made in person. Potential adopters have to bring their other dogs (if any) for a meet and greet. Im only a net-worker therefore, i do not have pulling rights. I name the dogs for personal references, the shelter doesn't know those names so always make sure to ask for a dog by their control number not by their name to avoid confusion.

MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO EAT DOGS AND CATS IN THE US
Dog and cat meat consumption of China and Korea gets a lot of international condemnation, but did you know that it's legal to kill and eat dogs and cats in most American states!?!?!
Only California, Georgia, Hawaii, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia have laws to ban it.
Please, sign, to urge Congress to act: ------------
Regrann from @angelhope71 - Regrann from @wildlifewakeupcall - Outrageous doesn't even begin to cover it... Just days after #WorldWildlifeDay & the killing of #Satao2 , now today an innocent 4 yr old white rhino was shot dead in a French zoo & had his horn sawed off & stolen. This is beyond unacceptable. Rhino horns & ivory are sought after valuable items in Asian markets. Rhino horn specifically to be used for traditional medicine. But there is NO proven medicinal benefit from ground up rhino horn. The lengths to which this attack was carried out is an abomination. The trauma involved to poor Vince the rhino, & his fellow friends is unimaginable. We need to end #WildlifeCrime#NOW ! #KillTheDemand - #regrann
Regrann from @respectanimalrights - I'm not believing this! Actually, yes I can believe it! #WalterPalmer, infamous murderer of Cecil the Lion, is a member of one of the groups that has been added to Trump's Wildlife Conservation Council. What a damn joke!

Regrann from @letsadoptindonesia - A dog is a man’s best friend. They’re supposed to be next to you, sharing your life as a member of your family.
A dog is so loyal, they will stay even when you ignore him. They will continue to be loyal even when you abuse him. They will wait for you even when you abandon him.
Jimmy is one such dog. His “owner” simply put him in the garage, where he was given nothing else. No food, no water, no health care, no love.
Jimmy had to find his own food and water, and sympathetic neighbours usually fed him. He loyally returned to the garage he called home, even as he grew thinner and sick.
He developed plenty of skin problems from lack of proper care. Jimmy had flaky itchy skin and demodex, and was flea infested, emaciated and dehydrated when we rescued him.
Even then he didn’t want to leave. Until his so-called owner called him and put him in the carrier. He cried all the way to the vet, for an owner who doesn’t deserve his love.
Jimmy was immediately put on medication for his itchy skin condition. He was given anti flea medication. His flea infestation was bad, it requires multiple applications for a period of time.
He was also given high energy food and supplement to help him gain weight. He was moody the first few days, not knowing where he was. He was suspicious of strangers, probably from not being used to a gentle touch.
Don’t worry Jimmy, you deserve a better life than what you’ve experienced. A lucky person will realize what a wonderful companion they’ll find in you.
