Guide to the North Park and Central SD scene. Tasty food, live music, and nature in the city. I take the pictures that tell the stories.
Don’t have to go coastal to enjoy good sunsets in San Diego, they are literally in your own backyard.
“Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me...”
Just read on @abc10news website that Saharan dust storms were responsible for the orange glow in the skies on Sunday, shown here. Who would have thought?

The crowds were waving and cheering from both sides of University today for the 2018 Pride of San Diego Parade. Participants marched all the way from Normal and University to the end of the route at Balboa Park. Lots of colorful costumes, creative signs, and good music there.
Brut IPA, the bubbles are over the top. Literally! Refreshing.
TBT 2016, my cat Aries warming/ perching herself on the new Cox Contour cable box that was just installed. Good spokeskitty!
Took this while crossing University. Thank goodness for long walk signals!
Tonight’s sunset off Lincoln near La Boheme. Lady saw me taking it and commented on the colors.
So many good pictures of the setting sun this evening. What did you take? Tag me, I’d love to see them.
Big Bay Boom from Bird Park. There were probably 200 people there but I found a more secluded place overlooking Pershing Drive. I put down the phone for most of it.
Car crash tonight off 4000 Ohio Street in North Park. This black Hyundai Sonata rear ended a black parked Kia Soul around 10:59pm. The impact threw the Kia sideways into the driveway and bent the fence. SDPD responded and is questioning one man who was in the Hyundai.
