There is a love of symmetry and history within this film. Some hidden some obvious. The Azaan (call to prayer) you hear in 2 clips is an actual recording I made from a rooftop hearing it being called from Ayah Sofia, which came as a surprise to me. This trip was incredibly important and special to me. Therefore I made the conscious effort to record as much as I could. I do not STILL consider myself a film maker. Lots of learning this time around too.
I’ll keep at it.
Hope you enjoyed it. ALJVD

Morocco is a photographers dream. Went for a walk early morning in the streets of Marrakech and I could see nothing but pictures being made at every turn. And yes, Moroccans are incredible artisans - #ppcolorpop@passionpassport#aljvdtravels#hellofrom
Delicate Balance | Don’t get tied down - I’ve always wanted to create this image but didn’t really plan to this day. Just showed up on location and saw the opportunity to make it happen. When the sun is about to set you don’t have much time so to get to the right spot , direct the subject and make sure you have enough subject distance/lens compression is key.
