𝐌𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟓 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬! 1) Budget - Be open and honest when talking with vendors when it comes to your flowers. If you love flowers and want a grand installation, then look to spend less elsewhere. 2) Show - Pinterest and Instagram will be your best friend when it comes to looking for ideas! Be open with modifications and substitutions. Remember your floral designer is not there to replicate as we each have our own style. 3) Research - Get to know your floral designers style and type of work they produce to check this fits with your wedding vision. 4) Liaise with other vendors - If you are not employing a planner then you will need to speak to other vendors if you want them to work together. Of course we will all work together as much as we can but we will communicate with each other which is much more efficient for you. 5) Be open minded with flower types and colours - There are some flowers that just can't happen like fresh Peonies at Christmas! It can be disheartening for a couple to be told no, so take a look at what flowers are available. If you'd like to have a chat, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have! So I don’t normally post on a Sunday - but I just couldn’t resist. Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of visiting one of the most beautiful Peony Farms in the U.K. @blackerandmoore to arrange some additional peonies for a wedding for next week. Whilst I was there I spied some luscious yellow peonies that I thought I would treat myself to. Oh.my.godness. I’m so so glad I did. Look at these ruffles, the buttery yellow tones....and I really wish you could smell them. In the U.K. we see allot of pink and white varieties used, which are all throughly gorgeous of course. But I would so love to use these for a wedding. Yellow is one of the best colours to use if you choose to wed in a church - but more importantly just how glorious is this colour?? It would look fabulous anywhere 💛
