Join Directors UK and ARRI at Camerimage for their presentation of six single-shot short films. All six films were shot in one single-take which proved to be a great creative and practical challenge for directors, cinematographers, cast, and crews. This 90-minute session will include the screening of all six films followed by round table discussions with the film’s directors. The audience will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the challenges the directors and their teams faced. When French comedian Florence Foresti presented her one woman show at Montpellier Arena for an audience of 8,000 people, nine ARRI AMIRA and ALEXA Mini were used by Roger Films to capture the spectacle. Cameras, serviced by Visual Impact France, were equipped with Ereca Camracer optical fiber interface and Fujinon Zoom Lenses (25-300, 19-90, 14-35, and 85-300). After the world premiere in Locarno, the documentary “Space Dogs” will be screened at the Viennale and Dok Leipzig. In an interview DP Yunus Roy Imer talks about the difficulties of shooting the film with stray dogs in Moscow, his equipment selection from ARRI Rental, and the color grading at ARRI Media—also in a video.
One of Germany’s most popular television hosts is coming out with a new program to air on German network ZDF. "Gottschalk’s Big 80s Show" will feature a perfectly stabilized image, guaranteed though the use of ARRI’s intelligent and adaptive Stabilized Remote Head SRH-3 in combination with ICT’s Moviebird 45. “Due to its compact size and light weight, ARRI’s SRH-3 is the ideal head for our Moviebird,” comments ICT’s Michael Gaenssle. "Weighing and setting up the camera was simple and the stabilization was easy to adjust. Panning was smooth and, due to the stabilization, fast pans with full zoom support by the operator were possible. The Philippine feature film “Isa Pa with Feelings,” a Black Sheep and APT Entertainment production directed by Prime Cruz, was shot by DP @teyclamor on ARRI ALEXA LF and ALEXA Mini LF with Cooke s7i lenses. For some scenes an ARRI TRINITY, operated by JR Misa, was in use. Cinematographer Tey Clamor, who has “always been a fan of ARRI,” says: “The added sensor size gave colorist Nico Ebora and me more depth in color grading especially with our VFX and high-contrast scenes. The image quality is superb and I really like the portability of the ALEXA Mini LF. The TRINITY matched well with the Mini LF and the wireless output makes everything faster.” Sometimes she had to film in a very dark environment with lots of mist, but: “The ALEXA Mini LF captured the highlights and shadows so well.” Camera, lights, and grip on “Isa Pa with Feelings” were provided by CMB Film Equipment.

ARRI’s Multicam System rises to high fashion: At the @parisfashionweek 2019, the Redemption fashion show at the Paris City Hall was captured by five ARRI cameras – AMIRAs and ALEXA Minis. The production by VIEW ON with Marine Lebacle as director and Elisabeth Coché as production manager was served by Visual Impact France.
