Hey guys! Hope you’re all doing well. Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to visit and tour JPL in Pasadena, California! It honestly felt like home and I don’t even work there yet! I’m so grateful that aerospace is becoming a bigger part of my life each and every day. I start college this month and I’m beyond excited for this new journey. I’m hoping that it’ll lead me back to JPL. My main goal has always stayed the same, and that is to expand human presence in the solar system and beyond. We are working for something that will forever be greater than ourselves.
Who doesn’t love a rocket launch?! Yesterday’s launch of the Falcon 9 and Iridium-6/GRACE-FO at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. I’ve never seen one in real life before. I’ve just sat in awe and wonder as a bunch of tiny little pixels would move around on my computer or phone screen, but still breathtaking. I hope to see one in real life this summer. A major downside of living in the Midwest is that there are no rocket launches. Do any of you have plans to travel for a rocket launch this summer? || #spacex#falcon9#elonmusk#occupymars#thisisthefuture#vafb#musk#rocketlaunch
Hey guys! Sorry it’s been so long! But I graduated high school today! I’m going to Lewis University to continue my career and education in Aviation and Aerospace Technology with a minor in Music Technology! I’m so excited to be pursuing a degree in something that inspires me everyday. I have a full time job at my home airport and am still currently working toward getting my private pilots license. I’ve had this account since I began high school and the people I’ve met along the way have been absolutely incredible. It’s amazing how big the space community has grown and I look forward to the future of space each and every day. I hope you’re all doing what you love. I hope you’re following your dreams. And I hope we’ll get to work together someday. You are capable. Thank you for following along on my journey for the past 4 years! Here’s to the next one. Onwards and upwards! #2018#classof2018
“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.” - Stephen Hawking #stephenhawking
Saddened to hear that Stephen Hawking has died at age 76. One of my biggest inspirations and heroes. An incredible scientist whose legacy will be remembered for eternity. It’s a sad day. We’ll look for you among the stars. Thank you for helping us understand the big, beautiful universe. We will finish your work. #stephenhawking#hawking
