Fallen: From the 2014 Series. For those just seeing this series for the first time, this series was taken with an iPhone during Fall. I was running in the park and started running through the leaves ( reliving my childhood joy of leaf houses and leaf fights...and running through piles of freshly raked leaves😊). I started to use my phone to take photos as I ran through the fallen leaves and discovered this amazingly beautiful movement on camera as the colors and leaves hurled in the air and into each other. No photograph is the same. Each one carries a different mood, focus, and beauty. It’s life in motion. One of my favorite series to date. Enjoy. #motionblurphotography #audreyjeane #motioninstills #projectinstills #yourshotphotographer #abstractart #abstractphotography #fallen #fall #audreyjeanephotography #audreyjeaneinstills #leaves #iphonephotography

Fallen: Part of the 2014 series. Taken with iPhone only. I spent hours in the park when I first started taking these photos. I’d try different techniques and speed of movement. Even the slightest shake from the iPhone rendered such dynamic results. I’ll post a few more from this particular color series and then I’ll begin posting different tones from another set. Each pass I did through the leaves on the ground with the iPhone created a new tone and color scheme because the light was different in each pass and the leaves were different tones . I’m excited to share more of this beautiful project. #motionblurphotography #audreyjeane #motioninstills #projectinstills #yourshotphotographer #abstractphotography #iphonephotography #audreyjeaneinstills #audreyjeanephotography #art #Fallen #Fall

Fallen Series: When I first shot the leaves in motion with my iPhone in 2014, I was amazed to see just how beautiful and dynamic the act of something so simple as leaves rising and falling and crashing into each other could be. Every moment captured has a different flow, different pattern, and different pace. What do you see in the photograph? #audreyjeane #motioninstills #projectinstills #yourshotphotographer #abstractphotography #fallen #motioninstills #seasons #iphone #iphonephotography #motionblurphotography

Fallen: The Motion Instills Project is a series that captures movement in everyday moments. The Fallen Series was taken in Fall of 2014 and 2018. This photo is part of the 2014 year. ( All photos in the Fallen Series were taken with an iPhone.) #audreyjeane #motioninstills #projectinstills #yourshotphotographer #abstractphotography #audreyjeaneinstills #audreyjeanephotography #motion #Fallen #Fall

Fallen Series: ( All photos in this Series were taken on an iPhone with minimal editing to contrast or no edits at all.) This photo was from the first series in 2014. The world in motion is so fluid and beautiful. That’s what I love about capturing moments in an abstract form. #audreyjeane #motioninstills #projectinstills #yourshotphotographer #abstractphotography #audreyjeaneinstills #fallen #fallenproject #motionphotography #art

Fallen ( all photos in this series taken with iPhone): It remains one of my favorite photographs from the 2014 series. This moment really captured the movement of the leaves in the air as they traveled at varying speeds. #abstractphotography #audreyjeane #motioninstills #projectinstills #audreyjeanephotography #natureinstills #fallenseries #fallen #Fall #nature #natgeoyourshot #yourshotphotographer #motionphotography

Fallen: The Motion Instills project continues! This is one photographs of the Fall leaves in motion from 2018. The series has varying degrees of flow. Some are beautiful color streaks that flow together. Others have a faint sharpness of a single leaf. I love that you can look at these photographs and see something different each time. I often will rotate the image to just see what the new angle reveals. #abstractphotography #motioninstills #projectinstills #audreyjeane #audreyjeanephotography #Fallen #yourshotphotographer #natureinstills #Fall

Woman Of The Forest: In Motion Series-She is one of the few female Shawomen in the region. I took this photo as a snow storm started rolling through the area. There was nothing but the sound of snowflakes hitting the trees and the ground. I loved that the detail of her is left to the imagination of the viewer. #audreyjeane #projectinstills #audreyjeaneinstills #audreyjeanephotography #motioninstills #awomaninstills #mongolia #reindeerherders #reindeer #woman #abstract #abstractphotography #yourshotphotographer

The White Horse: I want this photograph to kick off a series I’ve been working on for awhile: Motion Instills. I’ve shared some photographs in this series already. They come from different places in the world and different times of year. They all have the common thread of representing motion and movement in our everyday. As a photographer, I find myself torn between taking a snapshot of a moment that is sharp and clear or trying to capture life as it moves and as we move with it. While I love the moments of life captured with precision, I feel trying to represent the movement and abstract feeling in a moment can evoke just as much feeling. Even though this moment felt still in the quiet of the dawn, every element in this photo was in motion. Life is never still nor stagnant. This photo was taken in the early morning while I was staying with the Reindeer Herders in Northern Mongolia. #audreyjeane #projectinstills #audreyjeaneinstills #audreyjeanephotography #motioninstills #mongolia #horses #abstractphotography #whitehorse #photography #yourshotphotographer

Wrangled: When the herd thundered into the open field, one of the skilled horsemen lassoed one of the reindeer. The relationships between the animals and people never cease to amaze me. It’s beautiful to watch in all its forms- relying on each other for survival and sustenance. The Dukha in Northern Mongolia have had this relationship with reindeer for over 3000 years. They do not kill the reindeer for food. In fact, it is against the law to kill them. Primarily, they are used for their milk and some are used for transportation. #projectinstills #audreyjeane #audreyjeanephotography #audreyjeaneinstills #reindeer #nomad #justmigrate #mongolia

Through The Trees: The reindeer in the Dukha community were returning home from their day of grazing. When they are herded in, they thunder between the trees as members of the community race to grab their ropes and tie them safely for the night. In this early evening, a storm was rolling in and the grey sky cast a blanket of quiet and dimness on the forest. I was working on long exposure shots to show the movement of the herd- part of The Motion Instills project I’m working on. During my set up I happened to adjust my exposure settings and added a ND filter to my camera. I took one quick snap and then shifted the settings again. It wasn’t until I looked through the thousands of photos more carefully, that I saw the result of that moment was more of a painting than a picture. It has become, by far, one of my absolute favorite photographs. #justmigrate #audreyjeane #reindeerherders #taiga #mongolia #adventureinstills #projectinstills #audreyjeaneinstills #audreyjeanephotography #yourshotphotographer #wildlifenetwork #yourshot @burnmagazine @natgeoyourshot @natgeo
