Who do you look after most in your business, your client or someone that client refers on to you?

Referrals are a huge part of Barefoot Business and there are a few things I ALWAY do when someone refers a friend through... 1. The person who is referred gets looked after like ROYALTY.
If you've referred someone to me, you've gone on a limb and its both of us who now are in the firing line. That referred person gets the super special treatment so that you become a big part of their success story.

The referred person gets: (a) Full and free discovery coaching session
(b) From our library of nearly 200 tools for business... Access to 1 or 2 pieces of inner circle client tools that will help them get started
(c) Promise of either an offer to continue with us as a long-term client or a referral (and introduction) to someone else who would be a good match for their particular issue.

2. Referring client receives instant:
(a) Feedback
(b) Course of action I will take
(c) Promise that I will look after their friend. If we're not a match, I'll find another coach to refer them to
(d) Honest and vulnerable thanks, letting them truly know what it means to me.

Referrals are most often regarded as a convenient source of prospects and almost every business owner I've met, who says they look after their referrals actually have no system around ensuring consistency.

In fact, most business owners will say "Thanks" and that's about it. So go above and beyond, but its rare.
